Many individuals would benefit from rehab but worry about their ability to cover the costs. The perception that they can’t afford treatment often keeps people from getting the help they need. It’s okay if you don’t have all the funds available to cover the cost of treatment.
At Arkview Recovery, we are here to assist patients who may need guidance on paying for addiction treatment. Our treatment center wants you to be aware of some options to consider if you need help covering addiction treatment costs.
How Much Does Addiction Treatment Cost?
How much you end up paying for rehab depends on a lot of factors. Some of these factors include:
- The length of time you’re looking to remain in treatment
- The source of the funding for your facility
- If you also require treatment for a mental health disorder or other medical condition
The average cost of a treatment center varies depending on the location. Your costs may also be affected by whether you attend a facility that offers only the basics or offers a more luxurious experience. Rehab may be more expensive if your condition requires more intensive care.
Arkview Recovery understands that a few hundred dollars can be the difference in a person getting the help they need or bypassing treatment altogether. We’re always ready and available to discuss financing options available to help cover the cost of your care.
Rehab Insurance
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) outlines essential benefits that must be part of any health insurance policy, with substance use disorders listed as one. That means that your health insurance plan should provide you with rehab insurance coverage for a certain level of substance abuse treatment.
That includes receiving:
- Psychotherapy
- Counseling
- Inpatient treatment
- Behavioral health services
Arkview Recovery can follow up with your healthcare provider and find out the extent of the services covered. Many insurance plans offer coverage for the services provided at Arkview Recovery’s treatment center in Pennsylvania, including:
- Medication-assisted treatment
- Residential treatment program
- Partial hospitalization program
- Intensive outpatient program
Even if you have insurance, you can also apply for other government subsidies to help you with out-of-pocket costs. If you opt for medication-assisted treatment, make sure that the drugs are covered under your policy so you don’t get a surprise bill later.
